The chocolate printer

Here is a funny project : Last year, a team from the University of Exeter presented the prototype to the public. Henceforth, the 3D chocolate printer is available for sale.

This sweet technology can be bought on Chocedge.com for $4000. The price is valid for the first 100 buyers, then the price goes up to $4600. To book it, you must make a deposit of 30% of the purchase price.

The printer works thanks to a 3D printing software and the melted chocolate replaces the ink.

Why not dream about 3D video conferences? Yes, it reminds us of the surrealistic means of communication of Star Wars or other science fictions movies. But maybe they aren’t that surrealistic after all…
